This is a short composition for choir and organ intended for liturgical use. Although it was composed in 1954, it captures the spirit of the late 19th century. Dupré wrote Panis Angelicus for the diamond wedding anniversary of American friends. The music is straightforward to perform and is also suitable for amateur choirs.
