Now available as an accessible first edition, Dupré's miniature Épithalame was for a long time difficult to find. Composed in 1948 for his daughter Marguerite's wedding, Dupré transforms the song "Dein Herz will ich dir schenken" (I Want to Give You My Heart), attributed to Bach, into a paraphrase as tasteful as it is melodious, with a "Mozartian" touch.
This first edition includes a detailed preface and information about the work in German, French and English.
